On February 15th, Solar World in Hillsboro treated EMA members to a fascinating and detailed tour of the solar panel manufacturing process. After having lunch and a brief introduction by Ben Santarris, head of corporate communications, our guides shared their cell and assembly processes.
Lunch from The Corner Bakery was provided by our Event Sponsors, JRCurrier & Associates and RADServices and as with all EMA Events, there was plenty of time for networking with fellow manufactures.
This facility produces rigid panels in various sizes used throughout the world. Through the recent political efforts to improve tariffs into the US, this local company has a renewed opportunity to grow business and to be a major contributor to this business.
